What three adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
Really? No way.
Do you belong to any organizations or groups?
Yes. I’m a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
Why did you choose to do healthcare marketing/communications?
I always knew I wanted to go into some form of marketing or communications, but I challenged myself to find a specialization that can capture my passion. My role (albeit tiny and usually invisible) contributes to greater good: better health. It’s talking with patients, helping them share their stories, and reaching others that drives my time at Compass. Having that emotional element makes our efforts more meaningful.
If you could be reincarnated as an animal, which animal would you choose to be?
A sea otter has the life – its day is spent going with the flow, literally. That would be a fun life-after-next.
What is your greatest fear?
Eyes and anything eye-related. I don’t do eye drops or contacts, can’t watch other people put contacts in, and a visit to the eye doctor is terrifying. So, I’ll never be able to work in ophthalmology.
