Are you regularly involved in any charities?
Each year, I organize a team for the MS Walk. Our team seeks to raise $1,000 to $1,500 through private sponsorship for multiple sclerosis research, education, and helpful patient services. My motivation and awareness began with my father-in-law 10 years ago but just recently (two years ago) my sister was also diagnosed.

I also participate in raising funds for the breast cancer run held on Mother’s Day every year in Philadelphia.

They are both great walks for such great causes!

How did you arrive at Compass?
Funny story — I was currently interviewing in other industries thinking maybe advertising wasn’t for me, and after deciding I was going to stay where I was and not make a move I received a call from Kristin saying she found my resume on Monster and was interested in meeting with me. My resume wasn’t on Monster but I figured I would just go with it. Turns out one of the other companies that I interviewed for was run by Peter’s good friend. So I guess you could say creative thinking and spur of the moment is what brought me to Compass! Almost seven years later and one of the best decisions I could have ever made!

If you had 15 seconds of fame, what message would you want to give?
I would encourage people to follow their dreams and stand up for what they believe in. Never hold back!

What are your technical necessities? What tech stuff can’t you live without?
My cell phone and computer. I am on the computer more than I watch TV!

I love 80s freestyle.
